Embarking on a grand adventure from Moncton to St. John's and back, this travel blog encapsulates the incredible journey across the Atlantic provinces of Canada. Join me as I traverse the stunning landscapes, charming towns, and coastal beauty, from the heart of New Brunswick to the rugged shores of Newfoundland and Labrador, and back.


Day 1: Moncton, NB to Sydney, NS The first leg of the journey took me from Moncton, New Brunswick, to Sydney, Nova Scotia. The drive showcased picturesque views of the Maritimes, passing through lush greenery and quaint coastal towns. Sydney welcomed me with its warm hospitality and the promise of more maritime wonders to come.


Day 2: Sydney, NS to Corner Brook, NL An early start marked the beginning of my journey to Newfoundland and Labrador. Boarding a ferry, I crossed the Cabot Strait to Newfoundland. The scenic voyage offered glimpses of marine life and the vastness of the North Atlantic. Arriving in Corner Brook, I was greeted by rugged landscapes and a taste of Newfoundland's natural beauty.


Day 3: Corner Brook, NL to Twillingate, NL Continuing the journey, I headed to Twillingate, renowned for its stunning coastal scenery and icebergs. Exploring hiking trails along the coast and capturing the dramatic cliffs on camera were the highlights of this leg. The charming town encapsulated the true essence of Newfoundland's coastal allure.


Day 4: Twillingate, NL to Fogo Island, NL A ferry ride took me to the enchanting Fogo Island, a remote and picturesque destination. The island's unique artistic heritage, rugged coastline, and distinct culture left a lasting impression. I indulged in local cuisine, explored art galleries, and took in the breathtaking views of the North Atlantic.


Day 5: Fogo Island, NL to St. John's, NL The journey continued to the vibrant capital city of St. John's. Its lively atmosphere, iconic colorful row houses, and historic sites such as Signal Hill and Cape Spear made for an unforgettable experience. The blend of modernity and tradition in this city was truly captivating.


Day 6: St. John's, NL to Moncton, NB The return journey commenced, and I bid farewell to the charming St. John's. The drive back through Newfoundland's picturesque landscapes allowed for reflection on the incredible experiences and memories made. As I headed back to Moncton, I carried with me the essence of Atlantic Canada and the desire to return for more adventures.
